In many religions and ways of life, people often tend to think there is a force of Good and bad which act against each other. Good being God and/or the angels and bad being the Devil. This is the way many are able to justify why bad and sad circumstances arise in their lives. However, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji tells us there is only one doer, one giver of good and bad circumstances in our life. It’s us that has created a divide, they are One. The Saints have realised this and see Oneness in good and bad circumstances.
